To eliminate health risks and prevent ignition hazards near combustible materials, smoking is subject to the following structural mandates:
- Facility Boundaries: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside any facility, workspace, or within a 5-meter perimeter of any building entrance.
- High-Risk & Shared Areas: Smoking is entirely banned inside restrooms, corridors, transit walkways, and any designated material storage areas containing flammable or combustible substances.
- Corporate Fleet: No smoking is permitted inside company vehicles or at any time while operating transit machinery throughout company operations.
- Designated Zones Only: Smoking is exclusively restricted to clearly marked, authorized smoking facilities explicitly approved and provided by management.
Every employee has the right and responsibility to report policy infractions directly to management. Violations of these safety boundaries present a direct risk to facility integrity and will result in formal disciplinary action.
